Translating Climate Ambition into Climate Action: Technology, business and policy levers for catalyzing carbon management

The 2023 Climate Action Conference hosted by the UCLA Institute for Carbon Management brings together a stellar group of industry and academia leaders who will share their insights on practical solutions to one of the world’s most pressing challenges — reducing carbon emissions. The day-and-a-half, invite-only conference will feature a visit to AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles for a demonstration of UCLA’s latest SeaChange technology, followed by a daylong conference with prominent speakers and panelists for discussions on how to leverage technology, business and policy for catalyzing cost-effective carbon management.

2023 ICM Conference

is to lead the way in engineering carbon management solutions by conducting cutting-edge research, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and translating scientific findings into actionable strategies. We aim to drive the transition to a low-carbon economy, empower businesses and communities to reduce their carbon footprint, and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
